A single-vehicle rollover crash on northbound Highway 101 in Redwood City, California, left a young girl injured and missing early Monday, September 21, 2026. The crash happened around 10:38 p.m. Sunday night on the freeway north of Woodside Road. A witness told police they saw a girl believed to be four or five years old, with blond or brown hair and wearing a pink jacket, bleeding from the head near the crash scene. When officers arrived, they could not locate her, and a person reportedly fled the area on foot. The California Highway Patrol and Redwood City Police Department launched an active search and asked the public for help finding the child.
