A motorcycle rider was killed and a pregnant passenger was seriously injured in a crash on Charleston Boulevard in Bremerton, Washington, at about 10 p.m. on Wednesday, October 7, 2026. The passenger was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. Police said they did not have an update on her condition. The names and ages of those involved have not been released.
According to KIRO 7 News Seattle and MyNorthwest, witnesses told Bremerton police the motorcycle was allegedly traveling at a high rate of speed before the rider lost control and struck a raised median. Both occupants were thrown from the motorcycle, which then collided with a northbound vehicle. Investigators determined the woman driving that vehicle was intoxicated and she was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and these details may change as police release more information.
