Six months after 21-year-old Kylar Creason was killed in a motorcycle crash on U.S. 75 in McKinney, his family and friends gathered at Honda Cars of McKinney to unveil a memorial sign and hold a car show in his honor. Creason died on Friday, March 13, 2026, when his motorcycle was involved in a crash along northbound US-75 south of Virginia Parkway. His mother, Ashlie Swindell, and his young half-sister placed flowers and small toys around the new roadside sign marking the spot where he died. Creason was remembered by loved ones as a devoted car and motorcycle enthusiast who left a lasting impression on everyone he knew.
According to the Dallas Morning News, McKinney police and fire crews responded to the crash on northbound US-75 around 3:30 p.m., and all northbound lanes were shut down for hours before reopening. WFAA reported that Creason’s motorcycle crashed into a car on the highway. Investigators have not publicly released additional details about what led to the crash. Six months later, the sign and car show at the McKinney dealership gave Creason’s family and community a lasting place to remember him.
