The outlet also reported that the driver was booked into the Travis County Jail on the DWI charge. The Austin American-Statesman additionally reported, citing DPS spokesman Sgt. Billy Ray, that the trooper was treated and released after the crash. The Texas Department of Public Safety says its investigation into the crash is ongoing.
