A 17-year-old riding a small electric bicycle was seriously injured Thursday afternoon after being struck by a vehicle at the intersection of West 15th Street and Mahaffey Street in Texarkana, Texas. The teen was rushed to CHRISTUS St. Michael Hospital for treatment. The driver, a 27-year-old woman, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
