E-bike rider, 40, dies after collision with car in Highland Park, LAPD says
California Vehicle Code section 22350 requires drivers to travel at a speed that is reasonable and prudent for conditions, including the presence of other road users and visibility at night. A driver who fails to do so may be found at fault when a collision results. Fault in any crash is determined by the evidence gathered during the investigation.
California Code of Civil Procedure section 377.60 identifies who may bring a wrongful death claim after a fatal crash, including certain surviving family members and others who depended on the person who died. Deadlines apply to these claims. Families with questions can seek a free consultation, and we work on a no fee unless we win basis.
