A 43-year-old Oakland man died after the Porsche coupe he was driving left northbound Highway 101 near Mallory Canyon Road in Prunedale and struck a concrete wall before hitting a tree. The crash happened at approximately 9:25 p.m. on Saturday, September 5, 2026, on a stretch of highway once nicknamed “Blood Alley” before a major safety redesign.
