Driver dies, two others suffer major injuries in SR-67 crash
California Vehicle Code section 21658 requires drivers to stay within a single lane and not move from it unless it can be done safely. A driver who allegedly crosses into another lane and causes a collision may be found negligent.
California Code of Civil Procedure section 377.60 allows certain family members to bring a wrongful death claim when a person dies because of another’s wrongful act or neglect. Claims are subject to filing deadlines, so it is wise to seek advice early.
