A crash on U.S. 290 in Waller injured a construction worker on the morning of Wednesday, September 30, 2026. The collision reportedly involved two construction vehicles and a civilian passenger vehicle near the Harris County line, roughly a half mile from the FM 362 exit. The eastbound side of the highway was shut down while authorities worked the scene.
According to the Houston Chronicle, Waller Police Chief Michael Lopez said the crash happened at around 10 a.m. and that the injured person was flown to a hospital by LifeFlight but was not in critical condition. About an hour after the crash, traffic was being allowed through on the left shoulder, and the Chronicle reported the road was cleared shortly after noon. The cause has not been released, and the investigation is ongoing. If you or a loved one was hurt in a crash like this, Beverly Law can review your options, with no fee unless we win.
