A 26-year-old motorcyclist died early Sunday morning after a crash in far East El Paso, Texas. According to police, the rider was traveling northbound on Zaragoza Road around 2:51 a.m. when his motorcycle rear-ended a northbound Ford F150 pickup truck. The impact reportedly threw the motorcyclist into the southbound lane, where he was struck by a second pickup truck. He died from his injuries, becoming the city’s 45th traffic fatality of 2026.
KTSM 9 News reported that the crash happened in the 2300 block of Zaragoza Road and remains under investigation by the El Paso Police Department. KVIA ABC-7, citing EPPD, confirmed the sequence of events and identified both vehicles involved as Ford F150 pickup trucks. Police have not released the motorcyclist’s name, and the case remains under investigation by EPPD’s Special Traffic Investigations unit.
