A 26-year-old Wills Point man died early Saturday morning after losing control of his SUV on a rural road in Hunt County, Texas. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the driver was heading south on County Road 3609 at an unsafe speed around 12:05 a.m. when he lost control of the 2017 Ford Expedition. The vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree, killing the driver at the scene. No other injuries were reported in connection with the single-vehicle crash.
CBS19 reported that DPS identified the driver as Corey Shane Tacker, 26, and said the crash remains under investigation.
